Give La Russa a ton of credit, he's doing a nice job of getting everyone playing time. All four of those guys are more than capable and could use semi-regular playing time, so he's doing a nice job and it's certainly not hurting the team.

Question is who will be gone come July, Ankiel or Duncan? LaRussa has done a great job with this mess and it seems to be paying off big time.

Ludwick shelved and headed to the 15-day disabled list. The Cards once had too many outfielders; now, they're snake-bitten.
