Why doesn't ESPN cover college hockey?

I know on espn.com there's plenty of stats, rankings and all that stuff, but why don't they cover it more?

I know it's not the most famous of college sports, but there's plenty of die hard college hockey fans out there. I don't know about you guys, but I feel like they could at least to something other than just covering the Frozen Four. Why not do a telecast of a MN/UND weekend, or MN/UMD, or BU/BC, or CC/DU?

Sorry cj, I don't really know much outside of the WCHA, so whoever Notre Dame's rival is, they could telecast that weekend too I suppose.

Good question, I believe they only cover what brings in more money which is Football and Basketball typically in a D1 school. Same reason they don't cover college baseball until the regionals and super regionals. And they only cover College Hockey until the frozen four I believe.

Yea they could definitely show ND/Michigan and ND/Michigan State hockey. Better than half of that programming they put on like poker 40 hours a week. They should, its got a wider fan base than dominos (yes thats on espn)
