SF Giants Fans to Fly 'BEAT LA' Banner Over Dodger Stadium on Opening Day - Los Angeles News - The Informer

A group of diehard stadium-rushers up in NorCal are currently well on their way to raising $8,000 for a giant banner to fly over Dodger Stadium on March 31, April 2 and April 3.

It would serve as a territory marker for the San Francisco Giants -- reigning World Series champions -- during the first three games of the Major League Baseball season, which they'll play against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Talk about an inferiority complex. These are obviously the same morons who were chanting BEAT L.A. after their Giants defeated Texas.

I see no problem with this and many other Dodgers fans don't either. There is no affiliation with the franchise and I'm sure with as much shit Giants fans have taken from Dodger fans about never being able to win a WS in SF, no one else will see a problem with this either. Only thing I'm shocked at is just how cheap it is to fly a banner over a stadium for three straight days.
