When I post message at work (not necessarily at this forum), I don't want my computer IP to be logged by the forums so that moderators or people with admin priviledge can see what it is :p
For instance, I worked for company FooBar and my computer's name is JohDoe, which also is my name, my IP would be log by some forum software as JohnDoe.Foobar.com. Depending on how the IT folks setup the company network, it might not be 'JohnDoe.Foobar.com', but my company does that The privacy-concious freak in me don't want other people to know such information That's why I usually surf and post with anonymous and/or transparent proxy to hide my true IP (even @ home)
In the case of transparent proxy, there's a way for the software to log the real IP. But I ran a couple forums with different software and both of them logged only the transparent proxy's IP instead of my actual IP. That's why I was wondering which IP vBulletin logs.
If you want to see your IP is go here Once you get the IP address, you can plug the result to here to find out the named-IP.

Ha!
Only the Reds have more posts than us right now (not counting the non-team forums. MLB and of course the clubhouse have more as well)

(bringing this over here, where the conversation is a bit more fitting...it's carried on about MVP 2005 from a gameday thread)
I created myself as a stud third baseman and signed Ramero Mendoza to start it all off..those were my only moves for the beginning. I tried to do some trades, but the computer was stingy. I played the first month of the 2005 season then skipped the rest of the season to go through one offseason. The Padres ended up losing to the eventual World Series Champions St Louis Cardinals in the NLCS.
I honestly don't know what i'm gonig to do in the next offseason after the offseason I just had for the 2005/2006 offseason. My team is now full of young studs who are all locked up, with the exception of Jake Westbrook. I'm probably only really going to be focusing on the minor leagues, cuz my minor league teams are mediocre at best. (although I do have some great pitching down there)
I'll probably trade Sean Casey for minor league talent and bring up Tagg Bozied. (renamed that J. Diaz guy to Tagg Bozied) I may also bring up Travis Chick (renamed someone else) and either sign and trade Westbrook, or sign Westbrook and trade Eaton.
Anyways, here's my 2006 line up
C: Ramon Hernandez
1B: Sean Casey
2B: B.J. Upton (although he keeps getting injured. He's on the 15 day DL for the third time this season )
SS: Khalil Greene
3B: Leo Palmer (me)
RF: Aaron Rowand
CF: Juan Pierre
LF: Carlos Lee
bench
Matt Holliday
Sean Burke (starting right now at 2B)
Robert Fick (only up due to Upton's injury)
Jon Knott
Humberto Quinterro
rotation
Jake Peavy
Zack Grienke
Jake Westbrook
Adam Eaton (on the 15 day DL right now, currently have Chick on the major league roster to take his place)
Miguel Ascencio (tore up AAA in 2005..now a solid #5)
pen
Chris Hammond
Ramero Mendoza
Scott Linebrink
Brandon File
Aki Otsuka
something Zambrano (some minor leaguer I called up)
Trevor
needless to say, I was REAL busy in the 2005/2006 offseason, lol

Daniel has 3 posts in the Padres forum and zero in the Reds.
I always knew he'd see the light and become a Padres fan
