They play hard and never want to give up. You know, like Juan Pierre. But only if Bud Black or Mike Scioscia was his manager would Pierre be able to shed his "sucks" label for "grinder" status.

Let's assume this team had spent a lot of money putting together a powerhouse team and by the grace of God, the chemistry worked out and they got to this point but after a rash of injuries, they were forced to use a guy they really didn't want to but since there was really no one else, you get this.
I swear I was not making any yankee connotations.

Is that Clay Zavada? I really have no idea who else it could be, but Zavada already ruled anyway... and if he has a moustache like that now, that'd make him all the more awesome
