Predict the Yankees Opening Day Starting Rotation

In light of the trade for Pineda and the signing of Kuroda, the Yankees went from having a hole or two in the rotation to having 7 major league quality starters. So who will be in their rotation come opening day? Who will be expendable and traded for a bat? Who will be moved to the bullpen? Lots of questions to consider here. Order doesn't count, just predict who is in the rotation.

My guess: CC, Kuroda, Pineda, Hughes, Nova, with Burnett and Garcia in the pen for depth for if/when someone gets hurt.

CC, Kuroda, Nova, Pineda, Garcia with Hughes going to the pen and the Yankees trading Burnett while eating 90% of the remainder of his contract.

AJ gets traded (yanks eating a chunk of that contract), Garcia does long relief/spot start

If Burnett gets traded I will personally hug Brian Cashman. Don't care how much we have to eat.

Can't rule out the Pirates. Can totally see Burnett and a meddling prospect for Garret Jones type of deal happening. Just saying!

If Burnett accepted a role in the pen, he could be a decent power arm. I think if he's not dealt, they'll give him one lady chance in the 5 spot.

Pineda has 2 electric pitches, but not much else right now. If I was the Yanks, I'd work on a serviceable 3rd pitch.

Buster Olney tweeted about speculating a deal like this happening. Just pure speculation on his part though but still! Pirates man! It could always be in play, after all, Pittsburgh is their unofficial AAAA team.

so pineda is by far the worst starter we have. its gonna be cc, kuroda, hughes, nova, garcia in that order id say... with pineda probably going down to triple a. that montero trade looks worse and worse by the day... hooray.
