    Mets Carlos Beltran to RF

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Carlos Beltran and Angel Pagan met for five minutes with Terry Collins in the office of the first-year New York Mets manager on Monday morning.
All indications are that Beltran has accepted moving from center field to right field, but Beltran grinned when asked if that was the case and said he would not be able to comment until "later today."

Good move for the Mets and Beltran. With entering his last year of that deal, he needs to stay healthy if he wants to get get anything more than a one year deal next season. Hard to believe he will be 34 before April is up.

This is a no brainer in my view. Beltran is coming off knee surgery and isn't close to the player he once was. Pagan is very good defensively and needs to be in CF. Beltran and the Mets are hoping to deal around the deadline.
