It's best offer, but usually a last post will wind up being the best offer, especially if it's being held back until last minute.

and if its a good offer, why is it a problem about sniping? you already got offered a passable deal from bizkit, so if somebody tops it even in the last minute, youre getting value.

but yea, i guess i see the point, if he had made the sniping offer earlier in the process, you mightve gotten another deal to top that.

Hopefully you get real offers for Taylor and Tanaka and don't take a bag of shit sticks for them just because it's the best offer.

It's not a problem for me, but I want things to be open and fair for all participants. Nothing's shittier than someone playing fairly and then getting screwed by someone else.

So whoever has the best offer will have a chance to beat the sniper's offer if it's better. I'll be saying which offer I like best as we go along too so it won't be a mystery.

I'm sure there's some grey area, but if I have an obviously terrible offer, I won't even bother submitting it.

I take offense to that. I've checked a number of times.. I just don't have the pieces for this particular piece.

Seeing as how you tell everyone that in their trade blocks, I think the league is well aware.

    Osteen's out for the season.

That's not a deal breaker since he'd still be under contract next year, but just so you're aware.

    Yankees Auction #2

3B Judy Johnson is the next player I will put out. As a reminder, anything I deem as a snipe bid will allow the person who had the best offer before to one up yours without you getting a chance to match, so don't be a dick. Currently I will place the end of the auction at 3PM ET Tuesday the 28th. All bids must be in this thread.

The best chance of getting a player is by either taking some of these not so good players off my hands too, or by youth, specs, picks, or simply expiring deals.

Despite my low bar, you must still pass the TC, and I imagine they will be a bit stringent, so don't try to be too clever and get someone on the real cheap. Try to make it a win for you, and not how little you can give up. You have to give to get as they say, it just doesn't have to be equal.
