Edit, yes he did have a 13 game win streak in 1971 (from May 31 through Sept 13th). The guy that hit a home run against him in the 4th inning of the game vs the Tigers (Sept 17th) was Mickey Stanley. McNally was yanked right after that early in the 4th inning.

Damn, that O's staff from about 69-71 was insane. McNally had 20+ wins in four straight seasons (68-71)

1971: O's had FOUR 20-game winners
1970: O's had three 20-game winners (two with 24)
1969: O's had two 20-game winners

I used to sit in the Left Field cheap seats a lot when I was in college. They were only a buck and were always full of kids I knew.
