Shame about Richards and looks like Hamilton is in severe decline but hard for me to be overall sympathetic to the best record in baseball.

you know what would be awesome? if when baez makes an out, its a ground out once in a while. hes single handedly losing to my opponent in the strikeouts category on a week to week basis.

He's striking out at an amazing rate. 4 K's tonight. But you won't find any surprised die hard fans. We knew this was coming.

so, all the talk of rusney castillo the last couple days... im still reading reports that he compares similarly to puig. how? castillo is 5'9", 195 pounds [splitting the difference, ive read 185, ive read 205] and looks fairly skinny/scrawny. yasiel puig is a man... his forearms are bigger than a lot of peoples heads, and hes just a big, grown ass man. 6'3", 245 and 5'9", 195 dont compare.

now, the last couple days ive been hearing comparisons to mccutchen... now thats possible, at least theyre in the same ball park size wise.

If he can hit the ball out of the park and throw people out from the outfield does it matter how big he is?

i get what youre saying, but a guy at 195 cant possibly have the same natural power as a guy of puigs build. i guess they can be similar players, without similar body types... but i guess i was expecting more of the comparison to be towards the hybrid monster/athlete that puig is, and what castillo couldnt possibly be because of the size difference. i guess im nitpicking... or ive been going to the gym too much that im starting to become a total meathead.

i was just about to fistpump that baez got through a game without a strikeout, and getting me a home run at the same time... but theres the strikeout. im fortunate im playing a team that has chris carter and chris davis on it this week.

Lou Gehrig was 6'0 200 Lbs (at least according to his BR page)

    Griffey Jr was 6'3, 195

You don't have to be a physical beheamoth to be a super star athlete in baseball.

    Wilile Mays: 5'10", 170 lbs

He's only an inch and a half taller than me and about the same weight.

thats not my point. a guy at 6'3", 245 shouldnt be the athlete that puig is, is what i was saying.

I've never liked the idea of comparing two players, though.

Each person has his own individual tools and skills and talents.

We try to compare upcoming talent to existing talent as a way of making it easier on ourselves but the comparison is always inherently flawed in some way.
