I remember when he was with the Braves in the early 80's. He wasn't anything outstanding but he was involved in a huge brawl during a game against the Padres. He hit a guy early in the game then was hit every time he stepped to the plate and finally tried to whack the Padres catcher with the bat.

Kind of ironic (though brutal) that he would be killed by blows to the head.
