Better than AJ Burnett? NOW? I wish they would name this scout, because that's a pretty freakin bold statement
If this is true....I can't WAIT to see this guy.

Re: Stephen Strasburg is god, and not just in TPSL
So what is it?
1.) The scout is sleeping with Strasburg's mom.
2.) Boras found a few million dollars under his pillow and sent it on it's way to this agent's pockets.
3.) Strasburg, after striking out half of Nairobi, got some dirt in his eye, attempted to get it out and in the process made what appeared to be a wink in the direction of the all too eager scout who thought this was a flirt.
In all seriousness, Strasburg is straight filthy. I don't know if I would say he is a number two right now as that is a very bold statement, but everything about this kid screams guaranteed ace. He puts on a clinic time in and out. It would be fantastic for Washington baseball to build around a true stud ace.... afterall, it's been 80 years since Walter Johnson was pitching in Washington.

Based on TPSL projections, Strasburgh vs. Inoa, game 7 of the world series. Just sayin'

The Padres will regret not having lost five more meaningless games to get this local kid.

They screwed up by sweeping the Nationals.

Seattle would have the #1 pick if not for the Nationals, not the Padres.

The Padres ****ed themselves. If they had lost 3 straight late season games to the Nationals, their record would have been 60-102, bad enough for the 1st overall pick.
Go get that Grant Green, idiots.

It appears they still have a good chance to draft Grant Green. If they do, they will have spent the 3rd overall pick on someone who they took in the 14th round three years ago.

Re: Stephen Strasburg is god, and not just in TPSL
So you caught an incorrect mock draft prediction I made before the baseball season began. So within over two months those guys' stock moderately dropped like Michael Crabtree's. Oh ****ing snap.
The only reason you recognized those two names as you're scrolling the draft tracker is because I mentioned them beforehand.

Re: Stephen Strasburg is god, and not just in TPSL
I don't have any idea who anyone outside of Strasburg is in this draft, and I only knew about him because A) he's a San Diego State guy and B) the media hyping him up like he's the next Nolan Ryan.
It's the same every year with the baseball draft. I don't have the time or care to follow high school and college baseball across the nation.
I have no shame in admitting that.
I generally do some reading after the draft on who the Padres picked, I'm only now learning who Donovan Tate is for instance.

I do feel compelled to point out, however, that you was the one who bumped this thread 3 days ago telling us all how the Padres are still going to draft Grant Green.
