    And wanted him to be the one injured most of all in the Quentin-Greinke brawl. And agreed that he was the next Vernon Wells after signing his contract, coming off a year which you didn't think he deserved the MVP over Ryan Braun. Or that he (and Kershaw) was worth giving up Johan Santana for.

    But all of a sudden, every Padres fan loves him and thinks he's going to be Babe Ruth for their team.
