Billingsley's season is done.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Dodgers No. 2 starter Chad Billingsley will miss the rest of the season after being placed on the 60-day disabled list Wednesday because of elbow pain.

The 28-year-old left-hander, who hasn't pitched since Aug. 24, was 10-9 with a 3.55 ERA in 25 starts.

Last year it was Rubby, this year it's Billingsley. This is just fucking unfair. Why couldn't something like this happen instead to one of the Giants' prized pitchers ever?

Well fuck, Kemp and Kershaw are now hurt just when we need them most. Nothing good ever happens to the Dodgers.

And of course the worst part is, they'll probably suck next year since there's no way they'll match this year's hot start, while the Rockies and Padres challenge for the division, because baseball is a bitch like that.
