    Astros Tavares; venture again?

Should the Stros look Tavares' way again? Bernardo Fallas thinks so.

All I can say is, you Astros fans have one writer to chalk off your list as a valued opinion. It is comical to think that guys like Tavares still land jobs in MLB.

    Good Luck!

Please, please, please, please sign Mr. Autout and bat him leadoff. I am sure we could work out something to send ya Mr. Baker if thats a deal maker .

He's fast dude. You can't teach speed... doesnt matter the fact that he can't find 1st base with a map, compass, and a Himalayan guide... he's fast dude!

I hate to say it, but I would love to see the Astros take yet another step backward and sign him. Division rival and all.

Not to mention that it takes it out of the realm of possibility for Duhhhsty to come politicking for him in Walts office again.

RoFL I just read the article and some of the responses theyre talking about his defense as if it was GOOD. My gosh there was times where I would beg the tv for Corey Patterson back. Yes I said it. At times I wish we had Corey Patterson over Willy Tavares. He was AWFUL in CF, there was no comparision between him, Patterson, and Stubbs in CF he was a head & shoulder BELOW both those guys and honestly I would have rather had Ryan Freel back out there with his chandelier body.

Some of these people are why fans arent asked to run a baseball team.

    Re: Tavares; venture again?

Remember Tavares predicted he would steal 100 bases last season? Of course he did miss 60 games. If he had played them, played an entire season, he would have only needed to steal 1+ bag a game to hit his goal. Now if he could only figure out how to steal 1st...

They have Michael Bourn. They don't need the crappier version of Bourn.
