Mariners Sign Robinson Cano! Don't cha know!

10 Years for 240 Million. I really like this signing for the fact he plays 2B. Im not sure what they will do with Brad Miller now. He had a solid rookie year. There are conflicting rumors that they are after my lookalike, David Price.

Seattle pays $240 million for Robbie Cano. It would have taken just $350 million to keep the Sonics in town.

The city of Seattle is not who's giving 240 mil to Cano.

It's a lot of money, considering the Yankees never really seemed interested in bidding. They also had Washington's no-state-income-tax rule going for them (based on what I've read). Sounded this morning like Jay Z had ruined any chance of Cano in Seattle, but I guess that got worked out.

I thought the Mariners would have been out of money considering how poorly the Wii and Wii U have sold...

Wow, nice pay off, hopefully it works out. Hmmm, will the M's have enough money (and prospects) left for Price?
