As one with shoulder problems, I can tell you that they do not "go away" on their own. I'll have to get mine fixed one of these years, when the pain is too much to handle. I feel for Carlos. He's a very good hitter and has been a good fielder through his career.

I say Guillen will be shifted back at first base or DH, whichever works for Miguel Cabrera. I don't know if Guillen can hit 20 homers ever again, but he has exceeded expectations since he started as a slick fielding, light hitting middle infielder for Seattle.
