Indians Sizemore returns to the DL

Indians placed OF Grady Sizemore on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 11, with a right knee contusion.
The bruise isn't serious, but Sizemore hasn't made a quick recovery and the Indians are now taking the safest course. He should be back when his 15 days are up. The injury is not to his surgically-repaired knee and, according to the Cleveland training staff, he's merely dealing with soreness. Sizemore will leave behind a .974 OPS, six homers and 11 runs batted in.
Tough blow to the 1st place Indians with the Tigers red hot and charging hard. Sizemore has played out of his mind so far in his short season and hopefully his knees can stay healthy for what has been the biggest surprise in baseball, the Cleveland Indians winning. Travis Buck was called up to replace Sizemore.

Well, you never know, sometimes others can step up to hold the fort down, I can attest to that. Such a shame though, he looked like he was well on his way to his old form.

One really tough blow about this is Grady came back very strong and really generated a lot at the top of the lineup. I think the Indians offense still has enough with Kronk, Santana, and Brantley who is doing great to hold this team up. If Choo can start doing something then it will be even better.
