Indians purchased the contract of RHP Tomo Ohka from Triple-A Columbus.
Ohka was 3-3 with a 3.42 ERA in nine starts at the Triple-A level. He'll provide long relief with the Tribe and could get a start in an emergency. He was signed to a minor league contract this winter but failed to make the roster out of spring training.
Hory Shit! Ohka found his way back into the majors. The Indians need all the relief help they can get and he can't be any worse than what they have now. Perez is also expected back soon after his stint in AAA.
