Of course the Reds could callup Todd Fraizer, but I would feel a lot better getting a proven stopgap.

I would love to see Frazier personally, but management messed that one up bad. They decided to go with stone hands Francisco at third instead. Who would you go after Mission? A guy like Beltran? or maybe DeRosa?

It really depends. A guy like DeRosa could easily move into that utility role as the Reds will have Edwin next season too and he obviously didn't get a fair look/chance to prove that he is the definitive 3B. If the Reds want to cut and run with Edwin, selling him off this offseason, then I really do prefer Beltre (out of the reasonable, it's possible, option list.) He still has a good glove and a move to GAB could be something that he and our lineup appreciates. But I can't see that unless the Reds pretty much decide that this injury is the end of Edwin with the Reds.
