White Sox The Big Hurt Immortalized

Chicago White Sox honor Frank Thomas, retire No. 35 - ESPN Chicago

Great for Thomas and great for baseball!! He was fun to watch and one of the best right handed hitters of his generation. His knowledge of the strike zone was amazing and how he hit 500ft bombs on his front foot was even more amazing. Things were rocky when Thomas left but it looks like all is forgotten as Thomas' name and number will live on forever. Next stop, Cooperstown.

I would think so. Don't see anything holding him back except for being a DH.

As somebody who doesn't particularly like the White Sox (and I live on the south side...), Thomas is a first-ballot HoFer, no doubt.

Even as a Jays fan, and one that saw the end of a career end in such storm, I say yes.

I always respected Thomas. He was a great player. He deserves this honor.
