Just hope he ends the trend of giving out bad contracts. Heard Wilbon on PTI thinking Epstein can magically get rid of Soriano for prospects to rebuild the farm system. I hope you're not as delusional and am certain you're not.

No way that happens. Wilbon's just a homer that thinks Epstein = Instant Success.

There's only two possible ways of getting rid of Soriano:

A) Find an American League team that needs a DH, and also has (a no more than 2 year) salary that needs to be dumped. Couple Soriano with some cash.
B) Release him.

Option A could very well happen this offseason. But I don't think B could happen until after 2012.
