I hated those damn virtual waiting rooms. I'd sit here for hours before I got any tickets. And all the good ones would already be sold out.

I got nothing, but that's because I never see them announce when shit goes on sale. I tried that night and all of the games I wanted were standing room only. I'm not paying over $50 for 2 tickets to stand up the whole time.

Congrats CJ! And I don't blame you Provi. Yet I have to admit that I have bought the cheap seats many times only to stand behind homeplate with my cold beer all game long. Standing for an entire game sucks though for sure.

SRO at Fenway is behind the last rows. You can hardly see anything. I'd rather watch on TV or at a bar.

He's right about that... not worth it at all, I'd rather go to a Fenway Bar

Wow, 50 bucks for a standing room ticket in advance?!?!?
Now was that a night game, favourable opponent?

I got SRO on game day, day game, against Minny for 30 bucks two years ago.

It was for 2 tickets. $25 each, but that was before any fees so it was likely more than that. The Red Sox charge the same price for all their games regardless of the opponent.
