Attention! Who would you pick after Blake Griffin?

Seems to be a forgone conclusion that Griffin will be the top pick to whoever. So, assume you have #2 pick, who's the guy you most likely take after Griffin?

I didn't put down everyone obviously, just some of the more hyped prospects. I'll probably have left out someone. It would be really funny if the actual #2 pick wasn't even on this poll.

As for my pick, I think Rubio and Thabeet have those mystery ceilings, God knows what they could become but they also could be bums. Then there's the couple of guys who seem likely to play well out of the gate, a Brandon Roy type, immediately contributing to a bad team/quasi-bad team. Harden seems obvious but Gerald Henderson is really intriguing, unfortunately.

I feel like Harden, from watching him play in the NCAA tournament, is going to be a bust.

I agree with you KoZ that Thabeet is a complete mystery. I think this class really drops off a lot after Griffin, who's really the only complete player in this draft. I think Curry could be a contributor in the NBA but it's really going to take him some time to adjust from college.

I'm going with....JONNY FLYNN. Just kidding

I think Tyreke Evans would be a smart pick at #2.

I like Flynn a lot, he could be a nice pick later in the 1st for someone. He seems to have that personality to succeed despite his lack of size.

Harden is a good supporting cast guy in the NBA, a mid to late 1st rounder.

I went with Rubio, he's already playing pro ball I believe in Spain.

Anybody who watches Big East basketball that Thabeet will suck in the NBA when he doesn't have 6'8" PF posting up on him everytime.

If I was taking the #2 pick I'd take Jordan Hill, he's got speed, athleticism and has good shooting mechanics. But I do think Rubio will go 2 but this is dependent upon who gets the #2 pick

He sucked when he had a 6'7 PF posting him. Blair murdered him.

I was thinking when Harangody did it but you are right. Thabeet has bust written all over him.

Re: Who would you pick after Blake Griffin?

Maybe, he has done well against other big men. But clearly has strugged against smaller wide bodies. They won't have him guard that in the NBA. But I don't think he'll even be a poor man's Mutombo or even Bol. I just don't know for sure, he's probably the biggest risk/gain guy in the draft.

If he ends up with a team likes the half-court game like Mike Fratello then MAYBE he would be decent.

Rubio is like Steve Nash but without a good jumpshot. Do I really want that?

None of these guys will be overly good. I'd take my chances on Rubio though.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Re: Who would you pick after Blake Griffin?

Now that we know its Memphis, most likely it won't be Rubio as the last thing they need is a PG...actually he might fall cause OKC doesn't need another one either. Jordan Hill might be the pick now.

I would trade down, I'm really not impressed by any of those guys.

Re: Who would you pick after Blake Griffin?

They'll take Thabeet for defense, which they have zero of. He wouldn't fall past OKC for sure, they need a center/shot blocker.

    Poor Blake Griffin.
